Getting Your Talents in Front of the Right People
There are two rules of #100DaysOfCode. The first is to spend at least an hour working on a coding project and then post your progress on social media every single day for 100 days. This was the answer to a riddle I gave to myself months ago. I wanted to find a way to get the right people to recognize my talent as I progressed down this coding journey.
See, I have been studying code for about 5 months now, and I was starting to get what I call this “Lost In Space” feeling. It’s the kind of feeling where you are learning and observing but no one sees you. No one is around to witness your progress, no one sees how driven you are, or most of all, how much of a hard worker you are. You are pretty much no one to anybody. You are floating around in the middle of nowhere–lost in space.
Ok enough of that. You all want to know how to get your talents in front of the right people. Um
Well in case, you haven’t noticed, I am a bit of a chatterbox. So, I’m going to conclude by saying if you want to get your talents in front of the right people, don’t be shy and work in public. Getting recognized, by the right people, is a numbers game which is why social media is your best friend in this case. The last piece of advice I can offer you, based on my experience, is to not be afraid to let all your challenges show. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and advice.either. If there is one thing I have learned, once you become established on social media, your struggles become a lot less strenuous. This is where I am now in my journey. If you are still reading this, thank you for reading my extremely wordy blog. I hope the knowledge, I picked up in my journey, brings you many blessings in yours.
